Goodbye, Graduates!

February 1, 2018 the official graduation ceremony was held at the Institute of Aerospace Instruments and Systems and the Institute of Radio-engineering, Electronics and Communication at SUAI.

The ceremony opened with the faculty and administration speeches to congratulate the graduates and to honor the best achievers with awards and certificates.

Diplomas handed, the faculty and the graduates had a memory photo taken.

SUAI at Russia-China Business Innovation Forum

December 17, 2017 Russian-Chinese Innovation Future Park opened within the Russian-Chinese Business Innovation Forum supported by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Federal Intellectual Property Service, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China and other educational and business institutions promoting cooperation between Russia and China.

The Forum discussed science, education and technology innovations, including One Belt One Road Initiative, integration of Russian and Chinese businesses and a global platform for innovations.

SUAI’s Vice-Rector for international Affairs Konstantin V. Losev participated in the Forum talking on international cooperation, technical advance sharing, business incubator and intellectual property security.

The Forum resulted in establishing a joint Russia-China Innovation Center for Aerospace Technologies with Beihang University to become a platform for cooperation between Russia and China in science, technologies and education.

IV Forum of Rectors Association of Russian and Chinese Transport Universities

December 14-16, 2017 the Forum of Rectors Association of Russian and Chinese Transport Universities was held within Russia and China cooperation program in education at Xi'an Jiaotong University, a SUAI’s partner University.

SUAI was represented at the Forum by the Vice-Rector for International Affairs Konstantin V. Losev, discussing cooperation within One Belt One Road Initiative.

Over 270 Russian and Chinese education officials participated in the Forum to negotiate on BRICS and One Belt One Road projects, promoting research and innovations in transport.

SUAI at St. Petersburg Anniversary SMEs Forum

SUAI at St. Petersburg Anniversary SMEs Forum

November 22-23, 2017 SUAI took part in the 15th Anniversary Forum by the St. Petersburg Administration on the premises of Lenexpo Exhibition Complex.

While among the St. Petersburg Administration were the Vice-Governors Sergey N. Movchan and Konstantin N. Serov, the Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Northwestern District of the Russian Federation Andrey A. Turchak, and other St. Petersburg officials, SUAI was represented by the Vice-Rector for International Affairs and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Konstantin V. Losev.

Among other majors, the Faculty trains bachelors and masters for hospitality industry a few of which participated in both the Forum and its main event – the panel discussion on St. Petersburg hospitality industry: prospects and problems delivering views and opinions of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation.

SUAI welcomes IPSA

SUAI welcomes IPSA

November 21-22, 2017 SUAI welcomed the delegation from Engineering School in Aeronautical and Space Systems (IPSA, France) of the IPSA Toulouse campus head Jean-Marc Chalin and the Coordinator of IPSA development program with Russia Marina Latour.

The SUAI Vice-Rector for International Affairs Konstantin V. Losev and other SUAI Administration met the delegation to talk on curriculum and accommodation for French students’ internship at SUAI. The current interns dwelled on their advances and achievements.

The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation increasing education mobility and student exchange in the year to come.
