June 11-12, 2017 The Ufa Congress Hall hosted the Second Eurasian Humanities Forum to discuss the issues of vocational training within the Education 2030 Framework for Action by UNESCO.
The Forum brought together participants from related state ministries and agencies, institutes and colleges of vocational training, national UNESCO commissions and WorlSkills, educators, statesmen and politicians of Italy, the Netherlands, Mongolia, Armenia, Belarus’, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam, Turkey and Russia. Among the attendees was Mr. Grigory Ordzhonikidze, Secretary-General of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO and the Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
SUAI was represented by the Vice-Rector for International Affairs Konstantin Losev.
On June 12 the Forum discussed the concept of new international cooperation – WorldSkillsEurasia allowing wider integration of Russia, Armenia, Belarus’, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan to raise the standards in vocational training and to promote competitive economies with a unified system of educational quality assessment recognized internationally and benchmarked by the WorldSkills.
The Forum resulted in adopting a Resolution.
