SUAIs Philosophy at International Conference in Romania

January 9-12, 2019 The city of Iași (Romania) hosted the IOTAs Inaugural Conference on Pan-Orthodox Unity and Conciliarity under the auspice of the International Orthodox Theological Association (IOTA) to promote the advances of science and knowledge in the religious context.

Open to all confessions, to atheists and agnostics alike, the Association brought together clerical and secular research with nearly 300 participants from over 40 countries.

SUAI was represented at the conference by the Associate Professor Igor N. Zaytsev, the Co-Chairman for Philosophical Theology in IOTA, moderator of Diversity of Philosophical Theology and Theology after Phenomenology sections.

The Conference was benchmarked with the environment of mutual respect, even when touching upon subtle and highly disputable issues of religion, thus making IOTA a contributor to resolving both global and regional disputes strengthening the global interrelations and interaction.
