SUAI Participates in Webinars by HSE in St. Petersburg

June 25, a series of webinars by St. Petersburg Higher School of Economics (HSE) finished. SUAI and other Russian universities gathered four times to discuss work of universities during the pandemic. The webinars concerned university reputation and transformations in educational process for the academic year 2020/21.

  • June 4, the webinar talked on reputation and enrollment campaign issues.
  • June 11, the topic was world rankings during the pandemic.
  • June 18, the participants discussed university adaptation to new reality.
  • Finally, June 25, the series closed with discussions on online-education.

The participants considered cases of Russian and international universities to use experience in fighting COVID-19 issues.

The webinars resulted in establishing of a new education community aiming at development of national education and creation of its better image abroad.

SUAI Participates in Second Webinar within Export of Education Project

June 25, 2020 SUAI participated in the second webinar on export of Russian education. International services of national universities attended the webinar to exchange experience and develop joint initiatives. The project of four online-sessions focuses on popularization of Russian education abroad. In the session the experts discussed goals and tasks within Export of Education Project in 2020 considering specific features of international activities under current challenges.

The webinar discussed presentations and reports by the organizers of the session to find out about working with foreign students and applicants.

The next weeks will see two more Strategic sessions at RANEPAs Center of Competence for leaders and experts of international services.

New Stage of ABC Fairs Begins

June 19, 2020 SUAIs stand finished its operation in former Soviet republics bringing new contacts from potential applicants. Intergovernmental agreements between Russia and many of those countries facilitate recruitment of students.

June 22, 2020 the fair moves to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka and Nepal with expectations by universities to find new talents. SUAIs virtual stand is now open for help and consultations.

SUAI Participates in Webinar within Export of Education Project

June 19, 2020 a webinar on basic tasks and priorities of governmental policies in export of Russian education in 2020. SUAI and other leading national universities watched the webinar, organized within the Export of Education Project.

Today is the first Strategic session, opened at RANEPAs Center of Competence for leaders and experts of international services.

The participants discussed difficulties in international activities, caused by the pandemic and border closing. The purpose of the discussion was to realize goals and challenges for universities in 2020 and to define new features during the work with international applicants and students.

In the webinar Russian universities found out about governmental initiatives concerning export of education and listened to recommendations about future work.

ABC Fairs Moves to Russias Neighboring Countries

June 15th SUAI starts its third week at the ABC Fairs under the Eastern European University Association (EEUA). The previous stage of the fair was held in Southeastern Asia to bring SUAI over 100 contacts for future processing.

This week the fair will open in Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Kirgizstan. Well-known in the former Soviet republics, SUAI traditionally recruits many students from this region.

With the new virtual stand, SUAIs experts from DIA expect questions from potential applicants to guide young talents through the application process.
