XXII International Conference on Wave Electronics and Infocommunication Systems Opens at SUAI

June 3, 2019 the XXII International Conference on Wave Electronics and Infocommunication Systems (WECONF-2019) gathered more than 250 participants from Russia and abroad at SUAI.

The Rector of SUAI Yulia A. Antokhins opened the Conference hoping to repeat the last years success, with reports in English indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. The Chair of the Organizing Committee Alexander S. Bugaev thanked the participants for their contribution into science and development of electronics.

The annual Conference will include sections on Acoustooptics, Acoustoelectronics, Methods of information management and processing, Information processing and transmission in infocommunication systems, Embedded microelectronics systems, Electromechanics and control systems.

In the Conference young scholars will traditionally present their reports within the sections and the Round table on Acoustoelectronics and acoustooptics: problems, prospects and applications.

Zhongyuan University of Technology Visits SUAI

May 31, 2019 SUAI welcomed a delegation from Zhongyuan University of Technology (PRC), headed by the Vice-Rector Mr. Sun Bin.

The SUAI Rector Yulia A. Antokhina opened the negotiations, with the SUAIs Vice-Rector for International Affairs Konstantin V. Losev sharing the Universitys experience in international cooperation, focusing on networking, joint educational programs and R&D, academic mobility, forums, conferences, seminars etc.

The parties talked on joint projects between universities and industry based on professional-oriented technical education.

The negotiations promoted student and staff mobility and cooperation in R&D resulting in better understanding between Russian and Chinese education.

Indiana State University Awards SUAI Students with Certificates

Since 2005 Professor Gerald Cockrell from Indiana State University (ISU) has organized the Workshop on Practical Project Management: learning to manage the professional within the agreement on cooperation between SUAI and ISU.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students with SUAIs faculty participated in the Workshop to be awarded with the ISU certificate. The Rector Yulia A. Antokhina, the Vice-Rector for Educational Work Victor M. Boer and the Director of the Institute of Entrepreneurship Technologies Arthur S. Budagov attended the ceremony to join the students, grateful to Professor Gerald Cockrell for the Workshop and cooperation.

SUAIs Stand at Educational Exhibition in Beijing

May 16, 2019 Beihang University (BUAA) organized the International Educational Exhibition within the Global Partnership Week 2019 to promote student exchange with its international partners.

The Exhibition brought together more than 30 worlds leading technical universities to present their educational programs.

The SUAIs Vice-Rector for international Affairs attended the SUAIs stand at BUAA to meet SUAIs students currently studying in China. The students talked on their international experience and spread leaflets on educational programs at SUAI.

SUAI at the Project 5-100 Workshop

SUAI at the Project 5-100 Workshop

May 16-17, 2019 St. Petersburg hosts the XXVII Project 5-100 Workshop to promote Russian higher education and science at the global market.

SUAIs large delegation of faculty, administration and students shared practices with other 5-100 universities, strengthening cooperation with the participants.

The Workshop touched upon international education, transformation and development of national universities, rankings, cooperation with Asia and the Pacific region, industry oriented educational programs.

In the Workshop, the parties discussed innovations and mechanisms for better image of Russian education.
