The International Scientific-Technical Conference on Electromechanics and Robotics "Zavalishin's Readings" was held for the first time at the Department of «Information Technologies in Electromechanics and Robotics» of the St.Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation in 2006 and is timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the department.
18-22 April 2017
The conference was conceived as a tribute to the memory of Dmitry Aleksandrovich Zavalishin (1900-1968) – a Russian scientist, corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences, professor, doctor of technical sciences, honored worker of science and technology of the RSFSR, founder of the school of valve energy converters based on electric machines and valve converters energy.
The purpose of the conference is sharing of information and findings
by researchers and professors, young scientists, graduate students, applicants and students in the field of: automatic control systems; electromechanics; electric power engineering and electrical engineering;mechatronics and robotics; technical physics; management in the electric power industry.
Usually around 100 papers are submitted to the conference. Each paper is reviewed by several scientists from the organizing committee. Around 60% of submitted papers are accepted for publication in the conference proceedings. This year, we are going to select 30% of best papers and publish extended papers in English as a separate volume.
