Russia-Mexico Week Closes at SUAI

After 5 amazing evenings of science, entertainment and discussions Russia-Mexico Week came to its end at SUAI.

The participants from diplomacy, administrations, media, education and research exchanged presentations on various aspects of cooperation between Russia and Mexico.

Attended by students and many amateurs of Latin American culture, the event was not overwhelmed by science, but was rather aimed at creating friendly and positive ambience. Together the participants reminded each other about the key moments that have always united our countries and that have created friendship we can see today.

SUAIs efforts in organizing the Week were supported by CN CEPLA National Committee and by Russia- Latin America Business Center. Thus, another step was made to promote Russian education in the region and increase awareness about Latin American culture in Russia.

BRICS Future Skills Challenge 2020

November 9 BRICS Future Skills Challenge 2020, an international competition on prospective professional skills, started.

One of the official events within BRICS cooperation will gather over 1000 thousand participants, experts, delegates and reviewers from Russia, Brazil, India, China and he Republic of South Africa.

SUAI represents St. Petersburg and Russia in such competences as IoT, Space system engineering, Quantum technologies and Unmanned aviation systems exploitation.

SUAIs Rector Yulia Antokhina gave a speech at the opening ceremony to encourage participants who promote SUAIs infrastructure and training worldwide.

SUAI Starts Russia-Mexico Week: Connections

November 9, the Rector of SUAI Yulia Antokhina opened the international even called Russia-Mexico Week: Connections. The event will see reports and presentations on historical connections between the two countries.

Tied with 130 years of warm relations, Russia and Mexico have seen a number of most interesting periods of common history. Reports by journalists, culture and education personalities, diplomacy and researchers will seek for new ideas promoting cooperation between Russia and Mexico.

SUAI at International Exhibition in Central Asia

November 2-4, Education and Profession 2020 virtual exhibition was organized for visitors from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and many other CIS countries and the world. 26 participants including SUAI promoted education programs to attract students from the region.

In order to provide the principal information on each university, virtual stands were formed. Online-chat enabled, SUAIs internationalists could answer students questions during the whole event.

Additionally, SUAI held e webinar within the exhibition explaining How to apply to SUAI. Candidates and their parents received even more information and tips on application process. In Central Asia many citizens are aware of SUAIs higher education, that makes the university a major player at the exhibition.

SUAI at Roundtable on Cooperation with Slavic Universities

October 29, 2020 the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation organized a meeting for Russian universities and Slavic universities in CIS countries. The Roundtable aimed at enhancing cooperation between Russian education inside the country and those who represent it beyond Russian borders.

SUAI with high recruitment percentage from CIS countries was represented by the Vice-Rector for International Affairs Konstantin Losev to find new contacts in Belarus, Armenia, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and Kirgizstan.

Slavic universities promoted their opportunities and thanked Russian partners and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for support and new initiatives. Such cooperation will increase the role of Russian education in neighboring countries.
