SUAI took part in the Digital International Relations Conference 2022, held at the MGIMO University on April 14-15, 2022
V.N. Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, S.V. Lavrov, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, A.M. Sergeev, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences and A.V. Torkunov, Rector of MGIMO spoke at the plenary session on International Relations in the Conditions of Public Life Digitalization.

The uniqueness and significance of the Conference consisted in a broad discussion of the issues of digital transformation of international relations and diplomacy, the development and implementation of Russia's scientific and technical potential, legal support of the digital economy, the use of digital tools in the training of international specialists.

To participate in the onference, Yu.A. Antokhina, Rector of SUAI, A.A. Ovodenko, President of SUAI, and T.V. Kolesnikova, Associate Professor of SUAI Department of International Entrepreneurship prepared a report on the topic "Digital Silk Road: tools for developing the competitiveness of national economies". The report highlights the advantages of cooperation with Asian, ASEAN, and the Belt and Road Initiative countries. In particular, the high potential of joint scientific and technical developments in the field of digitalization of international relations through higher educational institutions is emphasized.

The International Relations educational program implemented at SUAI is traditionally in demand by applicants; it meets modern challenges and includes, in addition to traditional disciplines, blocks of topics on digital diplomacy and the course on Using artificial intelligence methods in international relations, aimed at providing students with the necessary competencies to successfully build their future careers.
