The federal project is based on strategic initiative, approved by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The Ministry of Education and Science and the Innovation Promotion Foundation arrange the competition.
As a result, 380 students became the winners of the second stage of the Student Startup selection. SUAI representatives for Institute of Information Technologies and Programming - Sergey Nenashev and Victoria Afanasyev are among the winners.
- My project The Development and Research of a Software and Hardware Complex for the Operational Intelligent sensor Monitoring of the Earth's Surface Based on Interaction of Technical Vision Methods and Methods for Complex Processing of Large-Scale Location Data is focused on the development of small aircraft onboard systems. Through major efforts I created a software prototype and also analyzed the AeroNet market by speaking personally with companies. The essence of the project is to see what is hidden on the Earth's surface via monitoring, using various on-board systems. This will help to save people’s lives at hard-to-reach places as well as in the emergency zone. When the complex is developed, it is planned a test launch jointly with search and rescue services, for example, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and afterwards to enter the market of the Russian Federation and the CIS, - said Sergey Nenashev, a SUAI master’s student.
Another startup is The Development of a Program for the Classification and Recognition of Moving Objects in Intelligent Optoelectronic Systems for Operational Aviation Monitoring by Victoria Afanasyeva, it will also receive one million rubles for further development.
We sincerely congratulate the winners and wish them further scientific success, new ideas and discoveries!
