SUAI presented the first results of the Priority 2030 program

On November 24, university teams submitted the reports on the implementation of the development program for the years 2021-2022 to the commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia

Yulia Antokhina, rector of St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, emphasized the need for a comprehensive transformation of the university in order to strengthen its position in the country.

– For the SUAI, the Priority 2030 program has become a powerful impulse for development, a conscious transformation both in terms of understanding the substantive agenda and assessing one’s capabilities, the competencies of the university and the university team as a whole. Participation in the program united all the scientific, educational, student structures of the university into a close-knit team, the goal of which is the comprehensive transformation of the university, which will eventually make it competitive not only in the Russian Federation, but also in the international scene, - said Yulia Antokhina.

Briefly about the results

Strategic project Aerospace R&D Centre: an advanced training program on SpaceWire technology was created for employees of aerospace enterprises to introduce new standards for on-board networks; a unique scientific stand for working with SpaceWire technology was created.

Strategic project Engineering School 2.0: were open laboratories for cognitive research, new production technologies and machine learning; an educational factory for 3D modelling was launched, the graduates of which were successfully employed at Power Machines,JSC.

Strategic project Future Skills University: as part of the international summer school, were held courses in information technology and robotics, a demonstration exam with the subsequent receipt of a Skills Passport for the following Future Skills competencies: Space Systems Engineering, Operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Digital Metrology, Technological Entrepreneurship, Industrial Robotics and others.

Strategic project Digital University: an e-sports class was arranged, for which an FVE program in e-sports was developed; two domestic championships were held.

Strategic project GoUP - Your Experience: an HR club was created to interact with relevant company executives and communicate with HR directors of companies.
