The index of the effectiveness of educational activities, the rating ‘Your Move’ is a joint project with the Federal Agency for Youth, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the presidential platform ‘Russia - a Country of Opportunities’. It aims to research and improve extra-curricular activities at the university.
- This year, the project ‘Your Move’ was updated and now includes a rating of the effectiveness of educational activities. It was held for the first time in a trial format, and from next year it will be mandatory for all universities. The rating was prepared on the basis of a survey of three categories of students: first-year students, second- and senior-year students, and graduates. It was necessary to cover more than 50% of the entire audience of the university, - said Anna Kanasheva, Head of the Department of Social and Educational Work of the SUAI.
When forming the index, the results of a survey on the ‘Your Move’ platform and an analysis of federal databases from the project ‘Russia - a Country of Opportunities’, as well as the Dobro.ru website, were taken into account. Over 450 Russian universities participated in study.
– SUAI has always paid special attention to social and educational activities, involving students in the extracurricular process, and receiving feedback from them. Our result in the ranking, active participation in the survey is an indicator of constant and continuous work with students, confirmation of the high assessment of the work of our department, - shared Larisa Nikolaeva, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy of the SUAI.
When summing up the results, various indicators of the effectiveness of educational activities were taken into account. For example, the involvement of students in the federal agenda for the implementation of youth policy, satisfaction with extracurricular life, the infrastructure of the university, the attractiveness of the university for first-year students, the interaction between students and teachers, the attitude of graduate students to the educational organization.
