Department 24. Medical Electronics

The Department trains bachelors and masters in Information Communication Technologies and Systems and Applied Information Science in Public Health Service.
Students have a unique opportunity to obtain higher education in electronics and medical instrumentation.

Qualification improvement courses in medical instrumentation maintenance and repair are offered.

A glimpse of history

 The departments history began in the 1950s with the foundation at LAI of the courses in Aviation Control Systems and Telecommunication.
The former Faculties of Radio-engineering and Computer-engineering became part of the Faculty (Institute, at present) of Radio-engineering, Electronics and Communication

The Department is an organizer of the Cardiostim International Congress (Electronics in medicine) and a constant participant of EMBEC and scientific and technical conferences in Germany, Austria, PRC, Japan, Indonesia.
